These Terms of Service govern your use of midwestcurbgrinding.com and the text messaging program operated by Midwest Curb Grinding LLC("Midwest Curb Grinding," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the site, submitting a form, or taking part in our text messaging program, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or the messaging program.

1. Use of This Site

The content on this site is provided for general information about our services. You may browse it and submit requests for service. You may not scrape it, copy it for a competing service, interfere with its operation, or use it to send unsolicited commercial messages.

2. Quotes, Scheduling, and Service

Submitting a request through this site is a request, not a booking. A job is scheduled once we confirm it with you directly. Prices quoted are estimates based on the information you give us, including approximate linear footage and job site location, and may change if actual site conditions differ. Pricing varies with drive time from our nearest shop, and a job minimum applies.

Weather, equipment, and site access affect scheduling. We work to hit the window we give you, and we will tell you if it moves.

3. Payment

Standard terms are net 30 from the invoice date unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. Payment is handled through our third party payment processor. Past due balances may be subject to a late charge and to suspension of further service.

SMS Terms and Conditions

Text messaging program of Midwest Curb Grinding LLC. Effective August 5, 2026.

Program description

When you opt in to the Midwest Curb Grinding LLC text messaging program, you will receive text messages related to your curb grinding job. This is a customer care and job notification program. It is not a marketing or promotional list. Messages include:

  • Replies to questions you text us
  • Quote and scheduling confirmations
  • Crew arrival and job status updates
  • Job completion and invoice notifications

How to opt in

You can join the program in either of these ways:

  • Check the consent box on our Schedule a Grind or Contact form. The box is not checked for you, and you do not have to check it to submit the form or to hire us.
  • Text us first at 515-599-5991. Texting us starts a conversation and is itself your consent to be texted back about it.

The exact consent statement on our forms reads: “I agree to receive text messages from Midwest Curb Grinding LLC about my curb grinding request, including scheduling, crew arrival, and job status updates.” Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies. Messages are sent in response to your activity, typically a handful of messages per job. We do not send recurring scheduled messages.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Midwest Curb Grinding LLC does not charge for these messages, but your mobile carrier may charge you for the messages you send and receive according to your plan. Contact your carrier for details.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message from us at any time. You will get one confirmation message and then no further messages. You can also opt out by calling 515-599-5991 or emailing info@midwestcurbgrinding.com. To rejoin later, reply START or text us again.

Carriers and delivery

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on your carrier, your device, and your coverage. Supported carriers may change without notice. The program is available on most major United States carriers.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder of, or authorized to use, the mobile number you give us. Do not give us someone else's number. If your number changes or is reassigned, tell us so we do not text the wrong person.

Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

4. Warranty and Limitation of Liability

We warrant that our curb grinding work will be performed in a workmanlike manner and, where applicable, to the SUDAS standard in effect at the time of the work. That is the only warranty we give. Everything else about the site and the services is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability arising out of the site, the messaging program, or any job is limited to the amount you paid us for the job at issue. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or project delay costs.

5. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Iowa.

6. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. The current version is always posted here with its effective date. Your continued use of the site or the messaging program after a change means you accept the updated terms.
